The full aligning elastic plate seal system with three sealing steps:
1) Install XPE sealing strips (available in various materials) between modules to avoid leakage;
2) Install single-sided adhesive strips on adjacent module edges to enhance the sealing effect;
3) Install 304 stainless steel sealing strips on the standing edge of the module to isolate oil and gas escape from channels.
The seal of large aligning seals for primary elastic pressure plate is composed of sliding elastic plate, sealing diaphragm, adjusting plate and elastic pressure plate etc. The elastic plate is made of high-strength elastic stainless steel, and the sealing diaphragm is made of Teflon (PTFE emulsion coated with glass fiber cloth),temperature resistance of -70°C to +380°C , which resistant to any acid and alkali solution and various organic solvents. The sliding elastic plate with appropriate hardness, excellent elasticity and strong corrosion resistance. The support plate is used to effectively reinforce, compensate and adjust the elastic pressure plate.where the material is moderate in elasticity, flame-retardant, light-weight, highly wear resistant and electrostatically conductive, and have excellent characteristics such as long service life.
The secondary sealing tongue scraper seal: The scraper is made of XPE, which is airtight and flame-retardant,where the section is trapezoidal. The tongue-shaped belt is flexible enough, and the tank wall is well fitted, without obvious gap and light transmission.
The full aligning elastic plate seal system has a larger alignment range. The sealing device able to compensate for the dimensional deviation of the -100~+350mm circumferential gap and have good sealing performance. The seal is also flexible enough and fit tightly with the tank wall. The floating deck run smoothly up and down and have good centering.
ADVANTAGES OF THE COMPENSATION ELASTIC SEAL
(1) Good sealing effect
The distance to the tank wall is less than 400mm to form a sealing surface, when the machine is running the medium in the tank wall does not contact the air and will flow back into the tank, greatly reducing the formation of VOCs
