Automatic pressure relief valve

A closed space will be formed between the floating disc and the edge seal, in which a real vapor pressure dominated by the medium will be generated. Due to the possibility of air being carried in the pipeline during oil collection, and frequent pipeline blowouts in the storage area, residual media mixed with air pressure enters the storage tank, causing the surrounding walls of the tank to bear pressure that exceeds the true vapor pressure. This violates the design concept of atmospheric pressure storage tanks and does not comply with the national standards GB50341 and GB50128. In severe cases, it can lead to tank damage.

Our company has developed an automatic pressure relief valve, which is installed on the edge plate of the floating disc. Its vent is inserted into the edge sealed closed space, and it automatically releases pressure when the pressure in the closed space exceeds a certain proportion (10%) of the true vapor pressure, ensuring the normal operation of the storage tank.
